StockPilot AI Privacy Policy

Updated September 25, 2026

StockPilot AI is provided by Ortiz Venture Holdings. This policy explains how StockPilot handles information when you use its portfolio tools, research, widgets and Apple Watch app. For privacy questions or requests, contact cisco@ortizventureholdings.com.

Information on your devices. Manual holdings, watchlists, saved notes, app preferences and downloaded research reports are stored on your device. StockPilot saves your last 10 research reports. Portfolio Risk Lab calculates historical portfolio analysis on the device. To obtain quotes and price history, the app requests market data for the relevant ticker symbols; it does not include your share quantities, cost basis or account details in those market-data requests.

Widgets and Apple Watch. StockPilot shares a cached portfolio summary with its widget extension. When Watch sharing is enabled, the paired Apple Watch receives portfolio and watchlist summaries and may receive an excerpt from your latest research report. These details can be visible on your Home Screen, Watch face or wrist. Manage Watch sharing in the app and remove widgets or complications when you do not want them displayed. Apple controls background update timing.

Research requests. When you start research, the app sends the tickers you select, the research mode and depth, and your optional question to StockPilot's research service. The service uses OpenAI to generate sourced research. It does not automatically attach your share quantities, account balances or private notes. Avoid entering information in a question that you do not want processed for research. Network providers receive the connection information needed to deliver requests, such as an IP address. Before purchase and when starting public research, the hosting service supplies a country code derived from the connection to check availability. StockPilot does not write that country code or the IP address to its report-usage ledger.

Premium purchases and report allowance. Apple processes purchases. StockPilot verifies signed subscription information and current subscription status with Apple to determine access and the applicable allowance. The research service records a pseudonymous subscription identifier, research run identifiers, report usage, timestamps and refund status. This identifier connects usage across requests and devices using the same subscription. It is not anonymous data. Signed purchase proofs are not stored in the usage ledger, and StockPilot does not receive your payment-card number through this process.

Retention. Server research reports are available for recovery for 48 hours. Expired reports and associated transient job records are removed by scheduled cleanup, normally within three days of creation. Report-allowance records become eligible for deletion seven days after the applicable subscription or grace-access period ends and are removed by the next scheduled daily cleanup. Downloaded reports remain on your device independently of server expiration. Apple, the hosting provider and the research provider have their own processing and retention practices. Disabling provider response storage does not mean zero retention: OpenAI's default abuse-monitoring logs may retain request or response content for up to 30 days, with the exceptions described in its policy.

Service providers and links. StockPilot uses Apple for purchases and platform services, Netlify for the research gateway and storage, OpenAI for research generation, and market/news providers for prices, history and publisher content. Opening a source link takes you to the publisher, whose privacy practices apply. Research may involve processing outside your country. Availability varies with the service provider's supported regions.

Advertising and tracking. The current app does not include an advertising network or use an advertising identifier for cross-app tracking. Purchase verification and report accounting are used to provide the app's functionality and protect the service.

Your choices. You can use basic market browsing and manual portfolio tools without creating a StockPilot account. You choose whether to start research or send a support request. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account; cancellation does not automatically delete downloaded reports. Contact the address above for help with access, correction or deletion requests. Do not send passwords, API keys or full brokerage credentials. Device backups and third-party service retention can be separate from the active app's storage.

Support. If you contact support, we use the information you provide to investigate and respond. Share only the details needed for the problem. See the Support page for a safe list of useful diagnostics.

Changes. When StockPilot changes its data handling, this policy will be updated. Review the policy before using newly introduced services.
